Crisis Response and Wholistic Ministry

Crisis propels Christ followers to action. Many people in New Orleans have moved to a ‘new’ normal, yet for tens of thousands, the impact of Katrina is still being felt.

Much physical rebuilding remains, especially in poorer areas like the 9th Ward, but the focus of Crisis Response remains on relational ministry.

Capitalizing on the foundation of the Katrina response started in 2005, Crisis Response has mobilized more than 17,000 volunteers and staff to make disciples and carry a vision to see reproducing faith communities planted around the New Orleans metro.

Invest and Be Changed

Crisis Response continues to seek work and ministry teams to invest in wholistic outreach. Teams should come prepared to be used by God in New Orleans, while being equipped to be agents of transformation at home!

Crisis Response is committed to rebuilding homes devastated by Katrina to allow displaced families to move home. So come and partner with Crisis Response for this Kingdom work!
